I was so confident that I found today's Wordle answer in just a few tries. So when my sure answer turned out to be wrong, I was thrown off guard and stared at a few broken fragments of the answer with no idea. I ended up solving this problem in a practical, if not particularly elegant, way, by shuffling unused letters back and forth between the gaps until I finally saw what I was missing.

- A mix of unique consonants and vowels makes for a solid opening word.
- A tactical second guess should allow you to quickly narrow down the letter pool.
- The answer may contain a repeat letter.
You're not dealing with a timer, so you have all the time in the world – well, until midnight – to find the winning word. If you get stuck, there's no shame in trying the puzzle again later in the day and finishing it when your head clears.

Every day, Wordle presents you with six rows of five boxes and the goal is to find the correct five-letter word by entering guesses and eliminating or confirming individual letters.
A good start with a strong word like ARISE – something that contains multiple vowels, common consonants and no repeated letters – is a good tactic. As soon as you press Enter, the fields will show you which letters you spelled correctly or incorrectly. If a box becomes ⬛️, it means that the letter does not appear in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you have the right letter in the right place.
Your second guess should complement the starting word and use another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time, while also trying to avoid letters that you now know for sure are in today's answer does not occur. With any luck, you should have some colored squares to work with that will get you on the right track.
After that, all you have to do is use what you've learned to narrow down your guesses to the right word. You have six attempts in total and can only use real words (so you don't have to fill in the boxes with EEEEE to see if there is an E). Don't forget that letters can also repeat (e.g. BOOKS).
