Learn more about Wordle
Wordle presents you with six rows of five boxes each day, and it's up to you to find out which five-letter word is hidden within them to win the popular daily puzzle.
Usually it's a good plan Start with a strong word like ALERT – or any other word with a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels – and you should be off to a flying start, at least with a bit of luck. You should also avoid starting words with repeating letters so that you don't miss the opportunity to confirm or delete an additional letter. As soon as you press Enter, you will see which letters you spelled correctly or incorrectly. If a box becomes ⬛️, it means that the letter does not appear in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you have the right letter in the right place.
Your second guess should complement the first, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you may have missed in the first row – but don't forget to leave out any letter you now know Answer actually doesn't appear in today's series. After that, all you have to do is use what you've learned to narrow down your guesses to the right word. You have a total of six attempts and can only use real words. Don't forget that letters can also repeat (e.g. BOOKS).
