With Elena releasing as the last Season 2 DLC character for Street Fighter 6 next month, players’ eyes are now shifting to what’s coming next for the game.
Justin Wong recently went around Red Bull Kumite Paris to ask the top Street Fighter 6 players and commentators which characters they don’t want to see in Season 3.
The fighting game legend hit up IFC|Yipes, iDom, Reject|Big Bird, Luffy, Sayff, RobTV, Lexx, NoahTheProdigy, Xiaohai, Garnet, LI Joe, Mouz|Problem X, Mouz|EndingWalker, BST|Daigo Umehara, Hameko, Nyanpi, Rohto|Tokido, Damascus, and more for their top three unwanted characters.
Despite her popularity, Makoto’s name was brought up quite a bit with at least four not wishing to see her return with Luffy positing the scary thought of the karate girl using Drive Rush.
The most unpopular character named was Abigail a total of eight times, so it seems his time in Street Fighter 5 still has players shaken.
El Fuerte wasn’t far behind either unsurprisingly, but there were a lot of fighters named off.
Menat, Dan, Rufus, Seth, Laura, R. Mika, Lucia, Necalli, Alex, Evil Ryu, Oni, Kage, Urien, Abel, Fei Long, Ibuki, Falke, Balrog, Sodom, Vega, Yun, Birdie, F.A.N.G, Hakan and Poison were all brought up too.
As for Daigo, The Beast is not a fan of Sodom in particular as well as El Fuerte and Vega.
Meanwhile, Tokido apparently has it out for the Final Fight cast since his picks were Abigail, Sodom too and Poison.
