Spring has begun and you know what that means: the air outside is dangerous and full of allergens. It's far better to sit down at an internet-connected screen and check out the many and varied games that make up this year's Future Games Show Spring Showcase Thursday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. PDT / 4:00 p.m. EDT / 8:00 p.m. GMT.
This year's show lasts 90 minutes and features 50 games, six world premieres and a new “Ones to Watch” segment showcasing the games the Future Games Show team is most excited about. Karlach will also be there: the whole thing will be moderated by Samantha Béart (who voices everyone's favorite Tiefling in Baldur's Gate 3) and Ben Starr (who voices everyone's favorite brooding himbo Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy 16).

50 games is a lot of games in my opinion, but some of the ones we know will be at the show have already caught my eye. We'll be hearing more from Holstin, the incredibly fascinating Polish horror game that does things with its camera that I never even thought possible. I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Enotria, the carnival-themed Italo-soulslike whose release date had to be pushed back to avoid a “suicidal” collision with Shadow of the Earthtree. I've been fascinated by these games ever since I found out about them, so I guess I'd better tune in.
