As Star Wars Day approaches, deals on Star Wars games have been announced across all platforms and genres. Among the discounted games is the new ‘Grand Collection’ from Aspyr, which bundles classic games into one large collection, including recent releases Bounty Hunter and Jedi Power Battles. A new trailer has been released to showcase all the games in the collection.
The Grand Collection is out now and is currently on sale at 50% off. The collection is available on Nintendo and PlayStation platforms, though please note that the PlayStation version does not appear to include The Force Unleashed or the Knights of the Old Republic games.
EA Star Wars games are on sale now until May 15th across all platforms. If you haven’t followed Cal Kestis in his post-Order 66 journey, now is the perfect time, as both Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor are 75% off, as is the multiplayer game Battlefront II.
If you prefer to hop in the cockpit, you can pick up Star Wars: Squadrons at an 85% discount until May 15th.
If you like your gaming a little more light-hearted, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is on sale for up to 80% off until the 8th of May, or head to Batuu in The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu, which is 30% off until May 15th.
Several games are running special events to celebrate May the 4th. Keep an eye on Star Wars: Outlaws social media for a chance to win a Nix plushie. The game will also be running a photo competition. And don’t forget, there is an ongoing free demo available to give new players a chance to experience up to three hours of Kay Vess’ journey.
MMO game The Old Republic is running a double-XP event, and a variety of items are on sale in the in-game Cartel Market. Players who log in on May 4th will receive a free droid mini pet companion, and Galaxy of Heroes has a special event with new in-game items and characters to unlock.
A number of other games are launching Star Wars-themed events, most notably the battle-royale game Fortnite, which has launched its Galactic Battle crossover event, allowing players to travel to various locales in the galaxy and battle enemies, including Captain Phasma. The event has also included the premiere of Tales of the Underworld in-game. Other game events include:
